Marianne Shepard, local Edward Jones Investment representative, is pleased to announce that she will be the key advisor to a local investment club for women sponsored by Lapdog Productions and Keller Williams Realty. The investment club will meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7pm at Keller Williams Realty office downtown Charlottesville.
The purpose of the club is to provide an informal setting for women to discuss their financial goals and to exchange ideas on a variety issues related to personal and financial growth.
“The club offers an unique opportunity to learn from one another,” says Shepard, who is looking forward to sharing her personal expertise on how individuals can help make their money grow and build wealth over time. Shepard plans to help educate participants on understanding the economy, interest rates, stocks, and other hot investment topics.
According to Schoner, Top Dog at Lapdog Productions, Shepard is a strong advocate for women and was the obvious choice of advisors to the new club.
Schoner hopes the monthly gathering will be a fun way for women to learn strategies for building wealth and becoming more independent.
